The American Red Cross

Thank you for considering a Red Cross donation today. Every dollar fuels our mission of doing whatever it takes to relieve and prevent people from suffering - through lifesaving programs and services in your local community, across the country, and around the world.

Financial contributions to the American Red Cross are tax-deductible.

  DISASTER RELIEF FUND
You can help the victims of thousands of disasters across the country each year, disasters like the Central U.S. Floods and Tornadoes, by making a financial gift to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to victims of disaster. The American Red Cross honors donor intent. If you wish to designate your donation to specific disaster please do so at the time of your donation.

The American Red Cross is not a government agency and all Red Cross disaster assistance is free thanks to the generosity of people like you. The value of your donation is increased by the fact that the ratio of volunteer Red Cross workers to paid staff is almost 36 to one. Contributions to the American Red Cross, a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are deductible for computing income and estate taxes.

For donation information, either as an individual or as a company, please contact Kristie Dozier, Capital Area Regional fund development coordinator, at (573)635-1132, tollfree 1-866-815-2738, or by email at kristiedozie@redcross-capitalarea.org.

All Red Cross assistance is free and made possible by donations from the American people.
